EYELASH TINTING

Think of lash tinting as a semipermanent dye job for your lashes. Tinting won’t add curl, length, or volume to your lashes (you’ll need to try a lash lift or lash extensions for that), but it will darken and intensify their color with permanent, cream-based dyes (and in some cases, a semipermanent vegetable-based dye).

EYEBROW TINTING

Eyebrow tinting is a process where semi-permanent dye is smoothed over your brows to shape and define your natural arches. During a professional brow tint, the technician will start by custom-mixing the dye to match the undertone of the client's hair and get you the right color (which is typically one or two shades lighter than your hair color). The process takes around 10 to 15 minutes (though the dye might have to sit a little longer if you have coarse hair), and the results are basically instant. As soon as the dye is wiped away, you'll walk away with bolder brows.

EYELASH PERMANENT CURL

First, lashes are coated with a special adhesive and wrapped around mini foam rollers or equally diminutive heated clips. This holds them in the curled position that you’re hoping to achieve. As you squeeze your eyes tightly shut, a perming solution or cream is applied to your eyelashes with a tiny brush. We then cover your roller-wrapped fringe in plastic wrap and lets the chemical concoction cook for about five minutes. After the perming chemicals have taken full effect, on goes a neutralizing solution. More plastic wrap is applied.

EYELASH EXTENSIONS

Eyelash extensions are semi-permanent fibers that are attached to your natural eyelashes in order to make your lash fringe look longer, fuller, and darker. Individual lash extensions are applied to each of your individual natural eyelashes (one extension per natural eyelash) using a semi-permanent glue. The material varies from studio to studio, but lash extensions can be made of synthetic, mink, faux mink, or silk fibers. Most studios offer a variety of extension lengths, curl patterns, and tints so clients can customize their look.

EXTENSIONS FILL IN

A lash fill involves applying eyelash extensions on new hair growth (new lashes) to give your lash line a full and refreshed lease on life. Both of these services begin by removing any long or overgrown eyelash extensions followed by replacing and applying new extensions. A full refill includes 25–45 new extensions applied per eye to really nail that fullness factor. If more always equals better for you, you can also up the ante with 10, 20 or 30 extra lashes.
